Wind and precipitation affects much of central and west Europe. Dry and bright in the far northwest but very cold.

Tuesday
Showery rain in Portugal and Spain on Tuesday, becoming sustained heavy rain from the west into nighttime. Showers for the Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica, these increasingly heavy with a risk of thunder. Rain for the north of Italy but fair in the south. Also raining in the northern Balkan States, drier with sunny spells to the south. Lots of sunshine and fair for Greece although cold and mostly dry in western Türkiye.
Sunny spells and showers for France, although rain in the far north (which may be more widespread into central areas early). This rain pushes into the Low Countries and northern Germany with time, mostly snow well into Germany. Windy and dry in Poland, bright to the north. Morning snow in Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary moves into Slovakia and Czechia with time, later into south Poland. Fine in Romania and Bulgaria.
Windy in Denmark, dry with sunny spells. Fair for the Baltic States and very cold, turning cloudier from the north with time. Staying cold through Finland and Sweden, very cold for many, a few bright spells in central parts of these countries. The cold weather persistent in Norway, some snow in the far south.

Wednesday
Heavy rain across south and central Iberia most of the day. Blustery across Iberia and through the Mediterranean Sea, the wind drawing the heavy rain across the central Mediterranean islands in into Italy; some thunder is likely. The day starts rainy in the northern Balkan States, the rain increasingly widespread and heavy. Scattered showers in Greece, increasingly frequent in the west with time. Fine in Türkiye.
Some rain in central and southern France, brighter in the north. Some early rain and snow in northern Germany, but otherwise an often bright day for Germany and the Low Countries. Snow and rain for Austria, Hungary, Czechia, and Slovakia, drier in Switzerland. Some snow in Poland but often dry, though largely cloudy and windy. Fine in Romania and Bulgaria, but with some showers in Bulgaria with time.
The cold easterly wind persists across Denmark and southern Sweden, some snow draws into southern Denmark with time. Fine in the Baltic States, staying cold here. Often bright in central Scandinavia. Only a few odd snow showers in southern Norway. Staying very cold in north Scandinavia and Estonia.
